Whirlwind on our Life

Well, sooo much has transpired since my last post. The oilfield here locally and surrounding areas is dead. So, my hubby was put back in the field after having an office job for the last 5 years or so...

We have tried to handle this the best we can, but it has been very hard. Having 4 kiddos and a hubby gone out of town makes things hard. Especially when one is a teen and 2 are pre-teens and they are GIRLS!

So, anyhow we ended up having an exspensive alarm put on the house, so my Mother can hear if someone breaks LOL... but seriously, I DO feel safer knowing that the cops will be at my house in less than 2 minutes should anything arise that is out of the norm.

My best friends husband will be headed to Pennsylvania, and many others we know. Supposedly it is booming up there? I am just grateful and my husband too, that we still have a job with income coming in. So many families have lost everything they owned and are still struggling and starting over. I cannot imagine the stress.

I thank God daily... That there is a reason for everything and even though it is hard, it could be so much worse and we do feel so extremely blessed!

Also, another note that is sooooooooo incredibly great news! My cousin, Julie is back in Odessa! And she has given her life back to the Lord.. she went away for a while, and now she's decided to let God take control... Im am so happy for her and my My aunt and everyone loves her sooo much! WE have missed her, and we are so happy she is back.

Prayers needed for Megan, her daughter, my little cousin.. but I know my God and He wont let us down....
